Don’t Miss out on your Year End Dental Insurance benefits

2017 is almost there, we are in December 2016. As we are in the last days of the final quarter of 2016, you must not forgot about he dental insurance policy you hold. Some of you might have been very busy through out the year and also healthy. But it is also important to take the preventive check up for dental health apart of your yearly routine. Make sure you visit your Tooth Corner Dentist and before that you make an appointment with your dentist.  You may wonder : Why?  We are happy to explain. This is an USE IT  or LOSE it situation. That means, if you do not use your dental insurance benefits before the year comes to an end, they are going t expire.  We are reaching out to  the community and population of the cities wherever our dental office is present. Hence, unless you schedule an appointment soon, you would just end up paying the insurance premiums and deductibles for dental work but never use them.

We are addressing some frequently asked questions below.

Why is it Important to Use the Dental insurance Benefits?

Lets take an example. An individual has $400 of dental benefits remaining for the year 2016.  Lets also assume the same individual’s dental treatment need amounts to $1,000. In that case, if he or she  postpones the dental treatment to January 2017, that amounts to losing $400. If you use this money in time , you could easily use the money in some other productive way.

How can I Find Out if I have remaining Dental insurance Benefits ?

The best way to find that out is to contact your insurance provider. By visiting your dental insurance provider’s website you can find the sum remaining or you can call them directly as well.  In general, most of the dental insurance coverage ends on December 31st. However you should carefully check with the provider and be sure about that.

What benefits I am entitled to as part of the dental insurance Benefits ?

Different dental insurances have different inclusions and exclusions. This depends on the dental insurance policy you hold and the type of policy and premiums. However, the first step is to visit your dentist or schedule and appointment. Once you have done a regular check up, depending on your oral health status the dentist can advise you for the treatments needed and then you can check with your provider if teeth whitening procedure is covered. At the same time you may consider much-needed dental work, if that is a requirement such as dental implants, crowns, or bridges.
