2017 ! A new year already arrived and we are sure you have had a great time on the new years Eve. For the new year the tooth corner team made a list of good things to do to ensure good oral health and enjoy excellent dental health in the years to come.
- Brush your teeth every day , floss regularly , if you would like to know the right way to brush your teeth please read our blog on how to brush the right way.
- Do not crunch , suck or sip. ice cold cola or any other soft drink and the ice in it. Its very harmful for your dental health.
- Stop using your teeth as a tool to can or a bottle cap
- Do not bite your nails , its a source of bacterial infection.
- Do not grind your teeth , it can slowly start hurting your denture and in long run they can cause substantial damage
- use soft bristled tooth brush
- Do not resort to semi liquid food.
- See your dentist regularly , at least twice a year
- Avoid tobacco : regular use of tobacco causes substantial damage to the oral cavity . not only to the soft tissues but also to the denture
- Consume calcium rich drink which supplements to the strength of your jaw bones.
- Limit intake of soda , coffee and alcohol.
